lookin at gettin some adjustable rear shocks for my mk1 escort (late) and im confused as to what ones to buy, in your opinion which is the best manufacturer. AVO, spax, bilstien, GAZ ect ect ect.........................

they are all around the £120 per pair mark. what do you use/recomend? :thumbsup:

TBH they are all about the same, unless you are realy into the realms of circuit racing where the shocks need to be consistant when hot or cold,

I think my choice would be the shock that has an adjuster knob rather than a screw, nothing worse than trying to get a 3mm allen key into the bottom of a shock to adjust it when you cant see the kin thing,

The other thing that you can get are top adjustables, thats if your shock tops are in the boot, they are the best things since sliced bread, Fit the knob, turn and forget, none on that laying in the dirt :mrgreen: swearing to your hearts content
