My yellow Mk1 Escort Mexico, BCF 543L was stolen from off the drive last night. We're on the outskirts of Oldham/Ashton in Saddleworth.

 

I had been working on the engine, which has a bent valve on cylinder 3, the rocker gear had been removed. The Quaife 'box jumps out of 2nd, Sparco Evo L seats, front grille missing, brand new alloy rad, 4.4 LSD, fitted with Yoko 035s on Minilite replicas. Although it looks like a Mexico it's based on a 2 door 1300XL shell, if that helps.

 

Obviously if any is offered anything suspicious I'd be most grateful to hear, or let the police know.

This is very close to me and last sunday I had a guy looking at my car and asking if it was for sale. He was in a red mk6 escort van!!
