alan mann paint info needed

Hi all quick question to fellow painters or those in the know.What is the name or code of the gold used on the alan mann cars? I know the original had real gold flake in and obviously this wont get that, but what is the closest to original everyone tends to use please? I have a lotus m2 tina to do the gold stripe n all that to. Any help appreciated got to sort it tomorrow. Ta Simon (MITCHVILLE PAINTER/GUVNOR/CLEANER etc )

Having spoken to the original Alan Mann works engineers I can confirm the gold leaf paint is officially old tosh, However it was a custom mix called Automec Autos Metallic Gold, I will try and get the paint code for the AM Mk2 Cortina that has been restored by some of the old A-M crew,

Dont know when But I hope this week if my mate can get off his arse.

Just for Ref the Red is Ford Monaco Red, ICI-P030-3442

Ian, is this the same red for the escorts as well as the cortina's?

I have read that the red on the escorts is a ferrari red. Rosso Corsa i think???
