how do you wire up rev counter original clocks with electronic ignition?cant seem to get working

take the feed for the rev counter off the -ve from the coil as long as it's an electronic counter

not electronic rev counter its the original clocks

Hi Mate if you are there saturday in the car i will have a look had the same sort of thing on the Capri when i picked it up.Think they use the same type of counter internals.

Mk1 or Mk2?

different clocks Mk2 you need a live, earth and a trigger wire from the neg side of the coil, Mk1 use an unductive loop i think but not 100% sure on that
