No. Font size is too small.

 

UNLESS your car is an import, in which case the 'font size can be reduced or altered to suit the space available'.

 

Having said that, I've got motorbike size font on my front plate and have had no troubles with the law.

yes but it depends on the police officer knowing that! they will know that say a ford focus shouldnt have 1 but they may see a mk2 escort and not realise it is to new!

as tazrocks said....Depends on the car. My 83 capri had black plates on and i had no troubles.
