what you worried about anyone elses times for ... their not competing against you are they? ...their in a different class .......

 

Perhaps if gaz lost a bit of weight off of his car, bolted a pair of slicks on and gave it a shot of the old throttle in a bottle then perhaps he wouldn't be in a different class .........not sure i can see him doing that though

I may get 100 bhp of gas pulsed in over a few seconds and then map my ECU to suit it , this should keep the engine safe . I've already got some Hoosier slicks but need an axle to start the ball running . Pretty sure i can run low 11's on slicks with the liquid bhp spray can on and without striping the car . It's cheating though but at least i'll admit it !!!!!!!!! = supercharger in a tin

I dont see why its a secret, although it shouldn't matter, what it runs on the strip on the day may be completely different from what his run before, i might chop a few wires before he leaves the pits

Going for a 13.5 as not much else can do that without slicks , gas , turbos and half the car missing !!!!!!! . I would love to do a 13.0 and beat the record but i can't see it myself without some weight loss from the car

mate i reved my old engine to 8000 with a standard bottom end, that ran a 13.1 with no gaz and a 12 .6 with so with a proper engine it should go well enough for me, espically with a 100 shot of but one thing at a time, ime in no hurry, and its the fishin season soon

I used to rev my old 2.2 pinto to 8500rpm most of the time, when i sold it, Ron took it apart and the crank and flywheel ahd a hairline crack in it

you forget to mention the front end and boot floor missing , the ladder bars and the jerrico drag gearbox . what was the time then ? 13.3 i heard

my observations when i looked in kevs boot was [ big blue boot floor in place] same axle set up as last year [ no ladder set up ] and that g/box aint no jerico so there . and there was two seats in there
