I have been reliably informed that the track will be fully prepped for the week-end of 19/20 April. According to SCR, the track was prepped on Saturday 5th April, however, the weather did not help and on Sunday because of the temperature of the track following the overnight snow the track was not prepped which is why they didn't allow slicks to run (until very late on Sunday and only after some begging ).
kevmk2 Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Only the once Jo and that was enough I agree that you get more runs, but if the track is no good, then whats the point All that wobbling side to side at 130mph was a bit of a brown trouser moment Plus the start line was full of pot holes, my 60ft times where in the 1.8's there, im usually in the 1.5-1.6 at pod, plus pod is closer to home for me

So it could be that Test and Tune was just that and no official results come out of it... If not, you'll have to wait til Round 1 mate

I heard that he ran his best time for Shakey at the week-end but I don't know what time it was because only the Terminal speeds and reaction times were showing on the board

oddball Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Rumour has it that K.J. done a 13.3 sec on street tyres and no gas The spy was wrong m8 As stated Kev run his best PB in full street trim including full exhaust system,starter motor,wiring,back brakes,full roll cage,carpet,cigarette lighter, and two seats on street tyres with no gas on Saturday Also ran his best PB on slicks with a bit of gas on Sunday too
