Baz. Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 cheers guys.... simpson looks good and expensive Il give them a call tomorrow!! about 550 for a stainles manifold
ZetecTinaLee Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 Thats not too bad..... is that an off the shelf item though? Im budgeting on the 6-£700 mark as its a turbo manifold which needs a external gate take off also
me bitch Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 general autos in south croydon have got a guy whos good at bending things and is the nutts with a welder
ZetecTinaLee Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 This is the idea....... The other manifold builder couldnt get the bends in tight enough to go down from the exhaust ports and back up again to the turbo flange as the engine mount sits about 7" below exhaust ports!!
ZetecTinaLee Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 Yeah I showed him how to build a decent gearbox tunnel
w p e Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 long life exhaust wallington in the total garage.
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 4parajon tony law My exhaust is from Tony Law. They quoted £330 for a stainless manifold for my Zetec.
4parajon Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Looks a good project mate IMO from the list of names mentioned I would only give Tony Law or Simpson's or myself this manifold, who you choose is entirely up to yourself
4parajon Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 4parajon tony law My exhaust is from Tony Law. They quoted £330 for a stainless manifold for my Zetec. I would think your looking at £400+ for this now Mike thw way St St has gone up.......unless he re-quoted you last week of course
ZetecTinaLee Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 Wayne- Ive had a system from long life before and they did do a nice job, but I didnt think they do manifolds? Correct me if im wrong though
