mk1super Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 I fookin hate it! Been puting some pvc strips round new bath and cos iam a tight arse decided id do it meself mean ow ard could it be!? Well the bath is in no worries but needed sealed in etc. So i ask a mate what do i do he says fit pvc strips round it and use sealent, cool so off i go, well theres more fookin sealer stuff on me than round the bath!!! I feel better now
Burns Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 did you fill the bath with water before you did it? cos if you didn't, the first time you fill it it'll split all of the sealant
marky4 Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 also a good way of spreading the sealent without it sticking to you is by dipping your finger in some diluted washing up liquid also use a good quality sealent ie. dowcorning and as burns said fill bath up with water and leave over night while sealent goes of
