MexDan Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 Does look a tad low TBH mate... mine sits on the 1st line up as a min when idleing when hot... Is the Oil Pressure warning light coming on??? I run 15w40 tho... not sure if that would mean i would have higher pressure as the oil is thinner
Guest MK1gaz Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 That's ok mate , as long as it goes about half way when your booting it
Tom Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 mate i f you want i high pressure pump take yours off and inside (without taking it apart) you will see a spring held in by an interference fit plug. This is the pressure relief valve and if you take a suitable drift and tap this plug in a mm or so it will increase the pressure of your spring and raise the oil pressure. Worked really well on mine
Admin Vista Posted April 16, 2008 Admin Report Posted April 16, 2008 I run 15w40 tho... not sure if that would mean i would have higher pressure as the oil is thinner Other way round mate, lower oil pressure with thinner oil
