BIGKEV Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 to weld up a diff? is it legal for an MOT aswell ?
Seals2 Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 with welded diffs your car wil jus bounce around the corners. you should only weld them for track. as for mot i think they should pass as they only drive it back ad forward during the test but ask the mot boys on here as they will def no.
Tom Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 The testers won't be able to doing a brake test on the roller tester with a welded diff - but thats ok we just use a decelerometer instead
PAUL MANN Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 dont forget tell them before they start the test ,so they dont just drop it in the rollers because you cant tell just by looking
