just found this on ebay. does he mean broadspeed? what makes this rs so special? what is broadstripe?

I think it was the later ones (could be earlier mind!) that had the 'broad' stripe instead of the 2 thin pinstripes down the side-thats all.

its an early mk2 rs2000, notice the front F.O.R.D lettering on the nose cone?? the later ones came with the oval badge...as for the broadstripe, its the thick stripe down the side of the car, again the early rs2000 had these instead of the thin stripes and rs2000 logo on rear quarter.

that's what mine should have but prefer it as it is
