GAZ Shocks

Ordered a pair of Gaz adjustable dampers for the mk1 today...

Went direct to GAZ - £113 delivered to my door, and bear in mind i'm in Ireland so about £25 of that is for P&P!

 

Just thought I'd spread the word in case anybody was thinking about getting some anytime soon! Save ya a bit of cash!

The adjusters seized up on my gaz shocks within a couple of months, i'll have avo's this time.

I've got 1990's cheapo Spax rear shocks on mine and they still adjust up + down ok

Ive got the leda 2 1/4 rear shocks off my hotrod ( rebuilt by leda just before they went tits up)

 

ive had them since 1992 and got them from jonny russell 2nd hand

LEDA .. the LE is from Len Dixon and the DA is from Dave Lyons ..

 

Dave Lyons set up GAZ after he *cough* left LEDA ... a few years later LEDA went tits up ..

I got rear damper zinc plated at 45 each and front rebuilt rs coilovers for abot £300, I went to their workshop thought there would be a trade counter
