GTA 4 Who's got there copy?

managed to get my copy last night, day off today so i started having a little

play of it this morning

Having both i would probably say im starting to prefer the ps3

just dont like the way microsoft charge so much stuff for all the extras

like wifi, online account, hd-dvd etc

now dont get me wrong im no ps "fanboy"

the first xbox was the best console of that generation hands down

but i think in the long run the ps3 will win this one

which is a shame imho

 

And gta4 is real good played it for 3 hours already today

My mates picking it up this week for his 360! We both have friday off.... supposed to be dropping my daily off for an MOT & fitting the clutch & gearbox back in the Anglia.... Can't see much that happening to be honest!

 

Freeroam online with up to 16 players is mental!!

got mine just! and 360 everytime, now down to £150 and having had both I can honestly tell you that there is no difference in the graphics at all. The PS3 is going down as its market share is too small and it can't claw back, as per usual sony wont drop the price as they are still trying to recover the money for R&D.

IMO the PS3 is the betamax of the games console and will go the same way as minidiscs and sodastreams

Blu-ray has already won the format war as hd-dvd will no longer be made

as a viable movie format and microsoft cant continue to put next gen games onto dvd can they?

 

But lets not get into a console war this is about gta 4

very true bu the games aren't on HD discs anways, the Xbox HD drive was an add on and they will be replacing it with blue ray (whoever he is) so i guess they saw that one coming. As for the game I havn't seen it yet and to be honest only bought it today because of the hype and all the lads that work for me were getting it... didn't want to be left out did i

Having seen play on both consoles, I would say the XBOX

tbh i nt w8 for metal gear solid though thats gona be wicked !!

o and i wouldnt ay ps3 is loosing the battle between them and xbox.

 

otherwise y whould xbox lowred its prices? and a blue ray player alone costs £300 + that's a reason to get ps3 on its own... also on a large hd tv you can see the diffrence in graphics. also imo ps3 looks better.. yes it looks like a jf grill but. . atleast it dont have a realy ugly power resistor or what ever there called hanging out of the back and they dont break down after the warrinty runs out (like many xbox's i know have)

I got PS2 and when GTA vice city came out i lost 6 months of my life playing that game then did it all over again when San Andreas came out,but now i dont even think about'em.

 

I'll have a blast when my bro buys it but i find my time much better spent on OSF

ive just had a go on my brother GTA4 on the PS3 and it is brilliant, the cars handle like you would expect from a driving game, the charactor movement is very fluid

its a great game!! really engrosing, got some good tunes on it too, Thin Lizzy, The Who, The Black Crowes, Queen, ELO, gameplay is great too, cars handle like you would expect, need to slow down for corners and the roads are more slipery in the wet, you can get some sideways action too

Got both console's & for me its PS3 every time. Got GTA also but not played it yet.

 

And Twinkle - COD4 - Bring it on.......
