Toby Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 'scuse my ignorance but a ZF box is an expensive ford motorsport box isn't it? Was it fitted into road going RS's?
Admin Vista Posted May 5, 2008 Author Admin Report Posted May 5, 2008 Thanks Tim, do you have any contact details for RACE?
Admin Vista Posted May 5, 2008 Author Admin Report Posted May 5, 2008 'scuse my ignorance but a ZF box is an expensive ford motorsport box isn't it? Was it fitted into road going RS's? No it wasn't fitted in road going RS's though there were gearbox options available to owners ordering RS mk1's under the AVO special build program. A ZF box is an expensive (and very strong) box fitted to a number of different makes of cars, including some motorsport applications from Ford (and others) and some road going applications. I need a reverse light switch for one in A.N. other car I have at home.

Toby Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 But do they have 2+2 seat fixed-head coupé with integral construction steel body by Bertone?
Admin Vista Posted May 5, 2008 Author Admin Report Posted May 5, 2008 It's not a skip lorry, yes it's Yellow and yes it's italian and is therefore often a troublesome beast but worth all the pain for the good days. There are pics of it somewhere on here and yes I use it as my main squeeze on TS, though I think with the exception of Retro most people on there don't know much about them.
