Sounds like fuel starvation - I used to get that at 7k on a red top pump. I changed the fuel pipe through the car, problem solved.

 

Is it ok in 1st, 2nd and 3rd? What pump you running?

toby- ive only driven it in 1st so im not sure about the rest i now it has 8mm copper pipe as fuel lines, standard mechanical pump

 

tom- its supposed to be a 3:7 but the man at sanspeed thinks its a 4:1 or similar, how much was what the rolling road or the car

Are you saying it does 88mph in 1st? Why not change gear- that could solve the problem

knew i was doing somthing wrong, the man on the dyno told me 88 i havent driven it far only down the road.
