not sure this is in the right section, but does anyone know of a website that will calculate your estimated 1/4 mile time, top speed etc when you type in car weight, power etc? i had it saved in my favourites but computer crashed!! i`m sure someone posted it on here a while back? i`d like to estimate the Anglia`s 1/4 mile times for when it`s done.

seems a bit wierd to have such a program as surely a lot depends on the reactions of the driver and the conditions of tyres, surface etc etc

it`s just a `guess-timate`. obviously it depends on weather conditions etc but it gives a rough idea of what your car should run. the one i looked at before was pretty accurate. when the Anglia had a v6 it said it should run 15.2 and it ran 15.4!!

cheers for that mate, thats the one i used before!! according to that i should be running around 11.8`s(no gas!) will be over the moon if it gets close to that!!!

My standing quarter at the Retro Ford bash was a bit slower than this. Partly I reckon due to my magic wand gear stick. If I got a quickshift I might knock at least a second off my time! :lol:

Works on my mates Harris pinto mk1 escort as well . So far he's run 13.8 at 98mph on street rubber so this programme is good :thumbsup:
