wheel nuts

just tried putting my alley cats on the cortina but the wheel nuts i have dont let me get a socket on to tighten them up. in other words do i need some wheel nuts for alloy wheels which are deeper/longer or am i missing something

 

if you need pics then i will take some, oh and if i do need some new nuts, what ones do i need?

are you trying to use the standed metal one's trev if so that's the problum

could get a set of ones from a capri, the ones from mine fit my mk3 cortina when i put my compomotives on (similar looking ones to alleycats) they are from a laser with the 4 spoke alloys
