Sounds like slave labour to me .... still seems like a walk in the park to my bird lol "youre looking at that doris!!!!" is all I get, and I still can't explain;

"deary, its a cinema, she's plastered thirty foot high and fifty feet across, how could I not look at her" :roll: yet I still get a slap.

I got that on holiday in Italy many years ago. We were sat outside this bar and she clocked me looking at the sexy laydees walking past. I told her I was doing a survey, and that they all had big noses. The next few women walked past and she said to me 'Hey you're right'....!

Hey....fight fire with fire , we can all be inconsiderate , instead of cookies try baking your rear wheel drums in the oven to get the heat resistant paint to set (oven smells of paint for a long time), plenty of swarfega left around the washing up bowl , plenty of ways to skin a cat (she,ll get the message !) oh and don,t forget McDonalds for the kid , most important ally !

I'm glad you're not a marriage guidance counselor. :D

No, but I am a female reading a lot of male perspectives on this situation and it's bloody funny :lol::lol::lol:

'You could have done something constructive like tidy up or do the ironing'.

I think this response is mainly hormonal by the way , at other times it could be "oh thats a nice thing to do! " you could try the other sly way to a womans heart...next time you pick up Retro Ford make sure you come back with Hello magazine or a few of the others and say I was thinking of you so I got you these , I,m told it works wonders by other guys on here ! :shag:

Nope, she doesn't read hello or any mags like that. And it's not the time of the month!!

So Jo, what would your reaction have been? Lets hear it from a doris.

Nop didn,t say that...you bit too soon , if she,s like my missus theres twenty or so different mood levels not necessarily linked to the monthlies , may even be the lunar cycle... be VERY careful , don,t take anything for granted , hormones are not easily understandable...like women a bit of a mystery , but we wouldn,t have you any other way ! :P

I don't really think I am the best person to answer that .... I own an RS2000, a 290bhp Scooby, don't know how the cooker works, read Retro Ford, Classic Ford and Banzai and would rather be out at an OSF meet or up at Santa Pod than decorating the house ..... it wouldn't really be your typical female answer :lol::lol:

Na, I doubt it. I used to be a goth so she'll probably just think I'm wishing I had my long black hair back. :(

There really is no hope then...could always try a bunch of flowers or I suppose do the ironing as a last resort ! LOL This may put her completely off kilter as she is probably expecting an attitude/row !

Just read this thread, bloody computer wouldnt work yesterday. I think I'd have fell over with the shock if I'd have come in and Tony had done any cooking, sounds like she dont know when shes well off mate. I got to stage a tactical war just to get him to make a cup of tea! :D
