Thanks guys thats exactly what I was after , I believe good sources can also "age" a colour as well to get it spot on , at least I can go ahead with the source that is offering me Ford Dragon Red as there is no other reference to it apart from a Merc colour , I,ll let you know what the sample aerosol comes out like.

Need your help guys ! I am having real trouble getting some paint mixed up to my original paint code Dragoon Red , I realise we are now in the era of two pack and cellulose may not be possible but I have a basic problem over what is listed , my paint code is CU Dragoon Red , some suppliers list a Dragon Red (not Dragoon), was this a seperate colour is this a misprint ? any help with on line colour listings/codes would be helpful , I only want to do a back door not the whole car so a good match is imperitive.. Should have got an Ermine White one I know...lol

Some really nice motors there for a small show in horribly muddy conditions , I fell totally in love with this one...

Good photos...nice to see a Ford win something at the end and the Thames commercial thoroughly deserved his pot ,abso mint...

Sometimes the alloy cog can work its way off the wiper motor mechanism splined spindle , really you need to take the motor out and press it back on , if you have to improvise like I did on holiday in Cornwall , you can get a helpful friend to brace the mechanism from the inside with a long piece of 4 x 2 wood and knock it back on carefully with a small mallet , taking care not to take out your windscreen in the process...if its only the wiper arm thats not playing ball its just a question of pushing it on at the correct angle , its a bit like losing your virginity

The really bad thing about going to LM...not going the following year ! Have radio LM on , Motors TV but its no substitute for being there with all the sights and sounds , all the wine and beer and having a great crack with fellow petrolheads...I WANT TO BE THERE !
