If I wish to off road (garage) my car for six months and the foc tax disc is due up shortly (don,t wish to re-insure yet ) do I have to go through the same Sorn procedure as a non historic car and what is the rigmoral for putting it back on the road...do I need special forms to apply for the next tax disc later on...help please !

I come from a strictly original equipment background but I have to say that stuff looks classy , better than a lot of the cheap looking tat that ends up on some cars and hey if you can,t get good quality original items then its a hell of a lot better than putting ropey old tank feeds etc back on....The man from Del Monte he say....

I got pretty pissed off for being interviewed on false pretenses earlier this year...all that was happening was the prospective company was checking out what was happening in the company I was working for which was actually endangering the job I was in at the time , I came out of several interviews thinking well that was bloody pointless , what the hell was I thinking grrrrrr !! Glad I am sorted now !

Classic well that depends on how you apply the term , we never saw many on the racetrack (not banger track) as it had American floppy style suspension but it certainly was the eighties repmobile and everyone will remember them for that , don,t forget when I started my Mk 2 fixation in the late eighties Mk2 were considered a bit naff but now people just love seeing them again , time and not seeing all the rusty ones about will be the key here I think...

I resigned from my old job in style - at the wheel of a motor car in a downpour ten minutes from the depot - I,m bringing your Peugeot heap in and I won,t be driving it again !!

Just got the Cortina through the MOT again (sometimes fails on rear brakes - shoes glaze up and TCA bushes) but what the hell is this new doccy about ? You normally walk away feeling chuffed with your embossed paperwork but a computer printout just doesn,t do it does it? Oh well at least thats it for another year
