tim Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 they make the steering lighter and take out some of the stiffness as they are rubber
w p e Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 the multi hole ones then you can change the caster & camber of your car. also lighter steering
Rick Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 seem pointless on a road car, the adjustables i mean, just one of those items you buy if your rich to make your car look good
Dom Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 So what are the best ones to buy for a really fast road car?
MightySprocket Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 the new non-rubber all alloy ones give a very harsh ride and are not recommended for the road!
Dom Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Ah rite so i'll be wanting some of these http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/pr ... ts_id=7388 And one of these http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/pr ... ts_id=7313
MightySprocket Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 yep! make sure the top mount can take your strut insert
caprifan Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I have some rubber roller top mounts on mine with gaz coilovers and the front of mine is pretty low and very stiff and the roller tops help make the ride really quite supple even though it rides stiff......I don't have to play the "dodge the bump in the road" game
samurai Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I got a quick rack without roller top mounts and it feels like the tires are flat!
bomber1 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I got a quick rack without roller top mounts and it feels like the tires are flat! same as m8 saves paying for the gym btw are u running capri struts and have u got a lot of camber on your front wheels (bottom of wheels further out than the top). does this affect how difficult it is to turn the steering wheel

samurai Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I got 2.8i sturts with standard springs with 185 tires! Looking at rally designs cat today and they got -3 inch springs im itching to call them up £32.66 for the pair
