TheDane Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Hi guys, Just wanted to introduce myself and my escy. Well as you probably all ready know or have figuered out, I live in Denmark. And I'm 28 years old, and an educated machineworker. And I own a MK1 escort. And the story of my escort started back in 1970, when my dad bought a 1300GT escy, and over the years he drove it and modified it, till he sadly died in an accident with his sierra x-mas eve in 1986. After that my mom sold he's escy off to one of his old racing mates, cause she didn't know what to do with a car that wasn't MOT'ed, and a big house. But luckily enough when I got my driving license in 1998, I found the bloke that had bought it, and he had never got around to get it back on the road, so it had been stored in the back of his garage for approx. 12-13 years. So after a lot of asking, he finally said yes to sell it back to me. And when we wrote 1999, I got the keys for it, and drove off. Cheers The Dane /Soren S
