I have yet to do my swtich panel! How many switchs do i need?

 

1.fan

2.heated rear screen

3.headlights

4.front screen washer

 

any more?

There isn't a front screen washer switch for a mk1 and not all of them had hazards either. You can modify a standard Mk1 wiper switch to be a push and release type switch for washers, it involves stripping the switch down and modifying the internals.

 

I also know a man who restores mk1 switches, they come back looking like new. £25 a switch or £20 exchange. let me know if you're interested and I'll dig out his details.

I got nice blue switchs that will look good in the dark

 

Do i need a switch for side lights? :S

 

Ill use a switch for the wiper motor sod the foot pump,that went to some guy on ebay with aload of other parts,i had like 2 or 3 of them to!

Your headlamp switch has the sidelights built in.

 

Thought of gettin a button of some sort to operate your screen washer

Im confused now the switch im gonna use is on/off one so no good for headlights/side lights?

 

Ill use another switch for washers,i can sit back and watch then turn it off when i want
