xpackken Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 hi guys i know that the recomended amount of turns a wheel nut needs is 6 . witch is not good as i can only get 4 3/4 on mine . is it ok to use my car like this or as soon as i drive it are the wheels just going to start falling off . sorry to sound dim lol has anyone else got this problem . _________________ bank failure watch list

mk2dk Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 It's recomended to have 1.5 x dia on studs. ex studs are 12mm thick, therefore 1.5 x 12 = 18 mm which would be 10-12 turns
