Brand new propshaft from burton power....£156 later.

 

Does it fit.

 

 

DOES IT FOOK!

 

means either the prop is wrong or someone has been redrilling the diff flange!

dont forget the holes are probably 'offet'....

two holes line up and 2dont....even if i put 2bolts in it, its just gonna vibrate itself off.

Im sure that it has to go a certain way, i have put mine on a few times and found one blot wont fit and have turned it round 90 degress and then it fits :?

the single piece prop i got of burtons was not very good, it fitted but needed rebalancing.

 

Took it to JW engineering at Bexleyheath who sorted it. Top guys and good prices.

 

That name rings a bell i think thats were i got mine made

If your'e still having problems I will pop round and have a look. What does it go between? I wonder if one of my old ones could be caniblised to fit.

yeah i had that, try turning the flange around a bit, might line up then.the holes are sort of recatngular, rather than square..( i'm rubbish at describing things) :thumbsup::wink: .

sounds brilliant....they wont take it back as they say it is right and it must be the flange thats different...Plus now ive fitted it, its now used.

Tell them to fook off! Took me 6 months to get another set of followers out of em that were crap, pm jimbob they kept selling him the wrong head gasket for ages and would not listern to him telling them they were wrong.

 

Lets just say I never use Burtons anymore :wiggle:

yeah i noticed that the day after i ordered mine, i wasnt aware he did escort stuff aswell as the anglia. Typical. :roll:

did you try turning the prop flange on the diff flange to see if the holes were 'offset'????

 

i got my prop from west wales rally spares, bout £120 quid deliverd

(and its a grp4 one,)

try turning the flange 1/4 a turn and see if they all line up my capper`s got of set holes and if put up in to place wrong only 2 holes line up
