im rubbish at solidworks, most i could make was a piston, rod and crank ! thats awesome johnson 8)

are you able to build a spaceframe? so i could do FEA's, stress anaylsis's etc on it, i'd pay for your time . . . :thumbsup:

that looks likea great tool :-S afraid iv fallen behind with technology these days i wouldnt manage to operate a programme like that

I probably could draw up chassis but im still learning the basics at the mo I'm currently working for an industrial design consultancy. But I'm going to be doing more 3d studio max work compared with solid works. So once I've drawn the rest of the engine I'm going to animate it running with cut away views etc

well i couldnt resist importing it into a scene in 3ds and assigning some materials.

i didnt finish the choke mechanism or the throttle linkage, but you get the idea.

I used to use deskartes and Rhino when I was working in CAD but I never got to that standard! :D:thumbsup:

not sure what to bolt them too. i fancy drawing up a xflow now :ykt::thumbsup:

do a wankel :lol::lol::lol: that'll take you a bit to do !

 

isnt that just a cylinder with two triangle in it? lol :mrgreen: na a xflow will look better 8)

today i made a start on drawing up the head. the render looks a bit w*nk because i have got a new computer at work and the V-ray doesnt work with Vista FFS :roll:
