that is not a complete system you will still need an air box and tubeing to suit. tho the up side is u can have the air in take in front of the radiator so you will allways have cold air to the carb. down side is u will have to find room for the air box. that is designed for engines close to the bonnet so it would fit imo :wink:

as just stated, open carb with a tube coming from a cold air source to the carb itsself.

you only really need plenums when you have twin carbs so you dont have to run 4 cold air feeds rather than just the one.

wont make much difference for the cost!

I doubt you'll have any problems fitting a regular square/pancake filter to the carb. After all, they usually have a mahoosive black airbox bolted to the top of em, which has gotta be a fair bit taller than a K&N.

 

Have a browse on Google [or ask on here for pics of engine bays] and see what people have got. :thumbsup:

i have a 38 dgas the three litre carb on my pinto which has a k&n filter and it does foul the bonnet i have a three litre prefacelift bonnet ifthis helps your decision
