I was under the impression the cossie and granny ones were the same. (the picture above looks like mine)

Anyhoo, they're rear brakes so won't need to be as powerful as the front ones, so if they're not the same, they'd be very similar.

I have been looking at the rear brakes on my cortina recently, They are already discs from a Mk3 escort front and Scorpio calipers , which does the job well enough, it was only when I was down the tire shop the other day looking at the discs and calipers on the back of a Golf, not so much the discs but the callipers, they are ally, I dont know how much less they weigh, but its probably a lot less than the cast iron granadas weigh, got to be worth a thought!! looking at the rear of audis they too they seem to have the same caliper as well,

Are they just standard taxi ones then Shane?? Not cossie jobbers?
i think they are all the same, people tend to say they have cossie callipers cuz it sounds better
