toad650 Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Is any one chopping up a capri shell as mine is rotten on the top of the headlight bowl along to the top of the inner wing, its too far gone to patch up as whats left is no thicker than foil So if anyones chopping one up let me know pees Secondally does anyone know where the rubber tube goes that feeds down from the sunroof? To me it looks like it just feeds into the sill, surly that just promotes the sills rusting?? anyhe i managed to melt mine
evil knievel Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 have you tried ebay, or the forum 'OSF breakers yard'? they are probably the best places to check
Copey Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 maybe try capri power too www.capripower.co.uk
emu Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 does anyone know where the rubber tube goes that feeds down from the sunroof? To me it looks like it just feeds into the sill, surly that just promotes the sills rusting?? Thats about right The whole paragraph, not just the first sentence
lee_capri Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 if you can come and cut out what you need this week-end then the answer is yes
brettp Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 dont that tube come out by the rear arch quarter bumper area?
danny69 Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 I have a spare sunroof drain tube if you need one, I also have a section of inner wing top but it would start just where those rippples are behind the headlamp bowl and go back as far as you need from there. So it would still need a patch overthe headlamp bowl.
Beakster Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 If you can't get any, here's some pics of how I fabricated some repair sections:
