omj624p Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 Booked at 8.30am. At 7.30 I drove it out the garage and started doing the final checks of lights, etc (yeh a bit too late I know). Everything going fine until.... I flashed the main beam, and the car went dead (engine turned off and everything!). I have a volt meter that went straight to zero. Nuts. Spent the next 2 hours fault finding with a volt meter. Turned out to be some wiring behind the ignition barrel had gone bad. Mot is rebooked for 12ish. Hopefully it will make it this time... Ahhh, the fun of owning an OSF
