It's a shame because it sounds like an ideal place, just let down by the location. I'm a South london bloke too, originally from not far from the Oval.

One of my drops when I was a medical courier was to Kings College Hospital. I had a Gilera Runner SP125, and when I did Kings College, I used to do the rat runs to get up to St. Thomas' hospital.

 

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I was obviously watched because it was only certain days I would have the Kings College drop. Within 2 weeks, I had 2 attempted hijacks... one of which was very well thought out. If it wasn't down to some quick thinking and some dare devil riding, I would have been IN Kings College and would have lost my bike.

 

Due to this, I sold the bike shortly after and bought a shitty C reg Vespa which broke down at the first sight of tarmac

 

My Gilera - Bought it brand new in 2000, although it was about 4 years old here.
