Billy_smith Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 recently changed my webbers for a set of bike carbs, and i am really impressede with them although when turning left rather sharply the car stutters as if cant get no fuel or sumhtin along them lines, has anyone suffered this problem??
countrybumpkin Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 dose it do it straight away when turning? as if it dose i would rather suspect an electrical problem rather than fuel so check all your ignition system from damaged wires or loose conectors, also do you have a fuel pressure regulator? as bike carbs ar suposed to run low pressure so it might be the regulator has been turned down to far
Rick Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 what enginie do you have and where did you get all the bits from? id like to do something interesting with the fueling on my xflow
Gonzo Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 What carbs you got? Pics of your setup would be useful.
Billy_smith Posted August 25, 2008 Author Report Posted August 25, 2008 its a 1700 crossflow, yeh i have a regulator but may sawp for a bike fuel pump as it has a intercepter. the lump has had the full works, lightened balanced crank and rods, the block has been shaved, accralyte pistons, stage three head, lightened and blanced fly wheel, running a rocket box. gonna go out and take some pictures now
