X-pack-Glyn Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Has anyone had much success with stiff mono links, or combi mono links with a soft hair?
X-pack-Glyn Posted August 25, 2008 Author Report Posted August 25, 2008 Have you tried the Chod ? i usually save that for when i get home from a trip mate but seriously i dont like em, overcomplicated, and i dont like the idea of the lead bashing about all over the place during a take.
Copey Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 i am totally confused, dont understand anything that has been said but as its Glyn...fishing??

Haven't tried it myself but it seems to be popular with the big 'names' I stick to semi fixed bolt rigs on a soft braid but I don't believe the fish I pusue are too 'riggy' to worry.
X-pack-Glyn Posted August 25, 2008 Author Report Posted August 25, 2008 very riggy where i fish, thats half the problem, they avoid baited areas like the fish plague... so we have to use a short link, fixed with pva bags. il give the semi fixed a try i think, with a pineapple pop up. ta. oh, and dont ever buy mainline pineapple dumb bells.... its 6 quid a for a small tub i cant stop eating em... they make very expensive sweets
