i have the same set up and it has taken me 6 month's to get them to work the way i want them to and not use the rear brakes to stop unless you jump on them.

what size are the master cylinders, they should be 67.5 on the front and 75 on the back for drums was what i was told by rally design,

the rest is down to adjustment of the pin's out the back and washers to give you more adjustment i.e. rears more play in the pin, fronts as little play in them as you can get with out making it tight against it or when you take it for a drive it will stop at a junction and won't move.

give this i try it sounds like what i first had when i changed my master cyclinder's and then found out it was working on the rears unless i jumped on the brakes :oops:

try addjusting them as i said play in the rear and almost none in the front and see if it works better i don't no much about these things but i would think you should get away with that but the rears just won't work very well. my understanding is the smaller the no/piston size the more the pedal has to travel to get to full pressure

Are you running a servo? If not the pedal will be bloody hard to push! Mine is the same though mate

ditto, no servo it'll be pretty hard all the time, get some good pads,

strange! rallydesign said for the same setup should have 0.75 and 0.625 iirc but i now run 0.7 and 0.625---front does need a good ol' shove but good pads which dont need warming up are the key to running without a servo

get rally design's own brake pad's, max torque, they work really well. got the same on my mk1, 8"drums on back with princess 4 pots on front with 257 disc's.with bias box. pad feel is good, no servo. :D

if your going to do that then what some people do is just put a servo on the front, but my brakes are great you just rest your foot on the brake pedal and it starts to stop it doesn't take much effort to stop quickly but you do have to use a fair amount of pressure to do an emergency stop but not that much could it be the pads are to hard a compound

went for the first drive with my pedal box set up, i've got larger piston for rear to give less pressure, got wilwood calipers all round, felt very lack lustre but think i've got to bed pads and discs in, will update as i set everything up.
