72mk1escort Posted August 28, 2008 Author Report Posted August 28, 2008 looking good petegotta be slammed tho..........want mine lower still You nutter You have to go over speed bumps slow enough as it is Do you think my rear end needs droping or just the front and buy how much on each do you recon (safely without grounding out on speed bumps) ?
antz Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 2 inch all round. ive only ever met one speedbump i cant go over and its in the carpark at my work...its fooking high!!!!
Mad Mex Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 2inch lowering springs on the front. 1 inch lowering block on single leaf de-cambered springs at the back on 175 rubber........i almost cry at every speed hump!!!!

Mad Mex Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 id say 2 inches all round would make it look should be ok on the bumps, what tyres are on the 4 spokes.....?
72mk1escort Posted August 28, 2008 Author Report Posted August 28, 2008 They are 5.5J rims and the tyres are 185/60/13's i think 2" all round might be to much how about an inch or is it not worth it?
Mad Mex Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 would imagin a 2 inch drop wouild be ok with that combo, correct me if im wrong any one , mine is effectivly 2 and 2.5 inch lower, on 7`s and skinny rubber....................u kno how low it sits mate ......cant have no one in the back of mine tho serious rubbage , prob be ok with 5.5s

Superblue76 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 My rs2000 was 2" all round, it's taken all the writing off the o/s/r tyre and the exhaust hit every pebble on the road. I've just raised the rear 1" and it is miles better. My advice ( for what it's worth ) 2" front 1" rear if you want to carry pasengers
