KJ 1320 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Kierans got the finepix S5600 which is the older version m8 and for the money you can't fault it I think Posse has got the S5700, therefore it must be idiot proof!

Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 9, 2008 Admin Report Posted September 9, 2008 Looking at a Fuji FinePix S5700 on ebay. Seems nice enough. Anyone played with one before? I have the next one up the S5800 and they are really, really good cameras
caprinerd Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 i use the 4900 zoom and pic quality is great bit older than the one your looking at but great camera all the same
Mr Sam Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 the 5600 seems to have better features, the 5700 seems to have more pixels or something, both real good cameras for the money IMO
trissybabes Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 I have the Finepix s5100 which has done me proud! Started off with an s304, then wanted more control and am now looking to upgrade again to a DSLR - as and when I've collected enough beer tokens. Really pleased with the results I've got from it and had some very nice comments in my Flickr account - one person commented that they couldn't believe I was getting those results with a "lowly" point and shoot camera! Would recommend one in a flash. Some samples... and one I buggered about with in Flickr's editing tool Picnik:
