Trevmk3 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 if you are wanting something unique then go to your local tattooist and talk to them about what you are wanting, they usually be happy to sketch something out for you and if you arent happy with it then its only on paper also try and look into what the tattooist has done before, look on the net if they have a site at there previous work

I’m really into the Hot Rod kustom culture scene and I’ve always liked “VonDutch” style pin-striping designs. Lucky for me I managed to find a tattoo artist local to me that is a Hot Rodder himself and so he knew exactly what I was after.

Have a look at things you like & put something together... if you can't draw get someone to do it for you I just remembered one I did for a friend. I only did it for her to show the guy the kind of thing she wanted, she booked a session, took it alongand ended up getting it done as he couldn't come up with anything she liked

Hopefully start on some line work for my other arm as well, getting an angel with roses & skulls all in black & grey... just got to find some images I like. I want a stone statue sort of look for it all.
