Heres my mk2 escort 2 door,

 

its a 1977 1100 l. the engine has siezed yesterday when trying to start it not sure why,

 

just has new wings front panels and minor repairs to floors.

 

has origional sills, strut tops,

 

i have change the interior from a 12000 miles mk2, can has been running well, passed the MOT in May, and has tax until november.

 

needs a new passenger door.

car will need a respray and engine needs to be sorted.

 

i have a mint 1600xflow that done 12000miles which could poss go with the car.

 

only reason im thinkning od sell as i have found a mk2 2 door ghia with 16k from new, all origional its at 7k.

 

the number plate on my car is worth £975

i like the green better but i needs a full respray, and now an engine, i have an xe engine, but with a respray and xe conversion i could just buy the gold one and xe that, as it doesn't need a respray,

why spend £7k on a mint mk2 ghia whith super low milage then XE it?

 

thats like selling your shoes that dont fit to buy more that do fit and then cutting your tow off anyway

just trying to figure out what will work out cheapest, its 7000 ono so could get the price down a bit, sell mine for say £4000 then spend 2000 on an xe.

Hmm , to me the reason that 1300 ghia is 7K is purly because it`s original,if u got any plans to modd it,...... it would in my eyes de value it, so better sticking with what u got?

 

to me i think a car with such low milage is garage furniture, but it depends on what ur really after out of a mk2?
