NeilT Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 to the Beaulieu international autojumble??? if your not at the hot rod drags or the brighton speed trails of course it will be my first time going but i have been told very good things, looking forward to spending on some retro bits and bobs check this out http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events-intern ... jumble.cfm
lotusless Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 i hope you have a wad of cash it is very pricey for bits, all the foriegn visitors bump up the prices a good laugh though at all the vintage car people + their strange ways
Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 12, 2008 Admin Report Posted September 12, 2008 The bits are pricey because they charge stoopid amounts to have a pitch there
lotusless Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 oh your right jo i forgot about that bit
john_3.0s Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 it depends, you can find some bargains there but its not a car boot sale! everyone there selling is a trader and hence are there to make money. if nothing else its a good day out, you will see some very rare and unusual stuff there! Im going saturday, fingers crossed the rain will stay away!
NeilT Posted September 12, 2008 Author Report Posted September 12, 2008 cool ill bear that in mind fellas cheers for the insight, im going with a strict budget and i know what i want to get so i hope i dont get suckered into any over priced bits lol John your not wrong there im hopin it will be just like today
Nettles Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Be prepared to walk bloody miles because it’s huge! I went last year and although it was a great day out, I was a bit disappointed. The problem is that the autojumble caters for all makes and models including a lot of rare foreign makes. Trying to find that crucial Ford part that you want becomes a complete nightmare because there’s just to much other rusty crap to search through. I took a wad of cash with me last time and spent next to nothing. Good Luck
