4parajon Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Well, for me anyway. Some of you may know that I have been struggling to get the car road legal for the last few months. I finally got it MOT'd a week or so ago and then found that the head was cracked Last week I managed to get hold of a grp 1 head and had it fitted only to be told that was cracked It turns out its not cracked even though I spent all weekend ringing every man and doris in the country to try and replace the 2nd one. I have just collected the Capri and driven it home and I'm just.....OVERJOYED is probably the politest way of putting it. Now I've been on here for a couple of months now and no-one has seen a piccie of my car yet, simply because to me it was never as important as getting it on the road, I will however be taking a few piccies for you all to look at on Saturday and I may even be at Blackpool on Sunday. Anyway rant over, Ive got to go and tell the people in the street and the local paper and anyone else who doesnt know yet!!! A big thanx to all who have offered advice, help and encouagement over the last few months. Cheers
