joker Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Ouch, should of left the NOS indoors Na mate my engine was built to use noz, just like your was with a jumbo jet size turbo Maybe, but i dont have to refill anything to go fast apart from the fuel tank with normal pump fuel and i drive it everywhere with the power it has, no power adders are needed, the time it runs on the strip (11.1 on road tyres) is the times it runs on the road, plus it can carry on going to 160mph + ermm may be to much boost ??????????????

kevmk2 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 kev mk2 what did your pinto run Well i wasnt really into drag racing back then when i had the pinto, i went pod twice with the 2.2 in it, that was 210bhp with a 2.04 first gear and 3.9 diff, and that run a 13.2 @ 102mph, with metal boot and bonnet, glass windows, full car loom and carpet I would imagine with a bit more work done on the engine and short as fook gearing like you boys have it would of gone much quicker. But then i though sod it, go cossie turbo and have an all round car, as i was fed up of driving it up to pod with a screaming straight cut and screaming engine on the motorway Now i have a car that will sit at 75 mph at 3500rpm on the motorway, do over 20 miles per gallon, race it at the pod or a track day, and drive it home again

What do you mean? Im only running 1.6 bar of boost ( 25-26psi), same as it runs on the road, im on a normal rally design 4 link, no ladder bar rear end, plus i use the car for all differant things, do you guys use your cars other than on a drag strip?
