Question for those better at photoshop

does anyone know how to lose the white fuzzy edge you may get of something when you cut it from a white background and want to drop it onto a different colourd one???

 

if you dont know what i mean ill get the pics out lol

Are you zooming in to cut the section out so you can get the line nice and tight?

When you paste a photo with white edges on you can do one or two different things you can use the eraser tool and blend it in that way, or

lasso the whit area and press delete, Please note this only works if you haven't flattened the layers.........

zoom in as much as poss. i sometimes use a 1px feather to make it look less 'cut out'
