I used to have a X-flowed white mk1 estate with a HUGE blue ford badge sticker on the side, i planned to do that car similar to ures, low, no bumpers, saaf london look, only i was gonna go bright orange over dark grey steelies........ It's a credit to ya yeah i rememeber mate.. the estate was the daily hack and got the living shit taken out of it... still does yeah im really chuffed how it came out but had alot of help too and pushing from the girlfriend to keep at it!!! and everyones comments mean so much to me and really keeps me looking after it!! over winter im doing a few changes but no engine changes cus of money and trying to start a business together.. after all, it still beats plastic so im still happy... thanks again people

oxb1l Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 Thats Cool ! i had one about 12 yrs ago in white still had plastic on seats etc,brother inlaw pestered me for it put mex wings on it 1600,lsd,tramp bars etc then i got a call at 2 in the morning cos he had broken down on a back rd (from my sister) 20 miles later there she was sitting nice middle of the rd on her roof (not my sister the car ) home new roof on,sold it after a while then bought it back and on the way home on a straight bar the diff locked on the motorway hit the crash barrier and took my sisters merc estate with it sister dont tow cars anymore Keep up the good work L8R Bill
