Durham Fiesta Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 had the chance to see them at the metro radio arena last year but didn't go as thought they'd play all the new stuff which i don't like , but gilby clarke appeared with them and they played some of the classics by all accounts
Durham Fiesta Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 ggggggggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy don't think there is any way that GnR can be classed as gay
antz Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 ggggggggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy don't think there is any way that GnR can be classed as good you said it....
Durham Fiesta Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 ha'way get a grip , they were at one point the best rock band on the face of the earth

Admin Vista Posted October 24, 2008 Admin Report Posted October 24, 2008 ha'way get a grip , they were at one point the best rock band on the face of the earth Sorry they were good and November Rain is one of my all time favourites but there's noooooo danger of that ever being true as long as these guys are still around
Durham Fiesta Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 gotta love a bit of maiden , but GnR were huge at one point. Love all kinds of rock music but a massive ska and punk fan thats kinda taken over from the stadium rock listening
antz Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 weather a band is huge or not it dont make them good. 50 cent for example, neil diamond as another ok the majority of people will like them. hence why they are a big hit...but look at the white stripes. they were awful awful awful.....somehow they slipped through the net
Durham Fiesta Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 appetite for destruction was a record selling album at the time of release. theres no way you can mention the white stripes in a guns and roses thread , thats just wrong
MM77 Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Tell me why I had to be a powerslave I dont wanna die, Im a god, why cant I live on? When the life giver dies, all around is laid to waste. And in my last hour, Im a slave to the power of death.

America from The Jazz Singer is another favourite of mine.

tazrocks88 Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 saw em live at wembley arena, good band live , proper good show . paradise city for me tho , november rain is a bit gay the funny thing is they thought paradise city and sweet child where the worst songs they made yet the 2 most popular WTF gotta be November rain or Night train in my opinion there new stuff has 2 much hype and is gonna be a big dissapointment!
Trevmk3 Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 i am a bit of a GnR fan, saw them at Sheffield the other year i like the new stuff, and some people get so hung up on the fact that Slash is no longer playing with them, so what Bumblefoot is one mean axe player (before anyone slates me i do like slash as a guitarist but that is now GnR past) they have also settled to be (kindof) normal looking after having buckethead playing with them. 15 years of writing, 8 years of re-recording the drums for the album, thats Axl for you
