mk1mexico Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Im looking at some alloys second hand which have GP4 fitment. How easy is it to get these on my car?? Can i make the wheels normal fitting again??
livewire7116 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 You can buy wheel nuts to go with Grp4 wheels and std studs from west wales rally spares for about £3 each
mk1mexico Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 Ok is there a sleeve inserted in the wheel or what?? Im a total novice when it comes to this so i do apologise
huxmk1estate Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Ok is there a sleeve inserted in the wheel or what?? Im a total novice when it comes to this so i do apologise yeah they are like early revolutions just a stronger idea
mk1mexico Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 Can they be knocked out?? To reveal a standard wheel??
Rick Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 i think mine are grp 4. i use 3/4 inch sleeved nuts fit fine just hard to line up the first two nuts but you get used to it
livewire7116 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 i think they do an insert but by time you buy them you could of just bought the modified nuts, i have a set i use on my mk2 with the long studs for my rd tyres
Rick Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 think the nuts are 1.50 each from rally design and they sell locknuts for them too
