widened anglia

did i hear/read somewhere about a widened anglia to accomodate a cossie 4x4 system or something of that nature

 

basically cut down the middle bumper to bumper weld in and exta section glue it all back together = wider car

 

bit like banded steels

 

 

any more info on this ?

thats not the one that is widened, Matt black with a white or silver stripe, I think it was in CF a few months ago.

The 'Wanglia' is a 60's race car that was widened, but only in the floor pan, the roof was left standard.

I remember in Classic Ford a while back there where retro pictures from the 60's and 70's of race cars and there was one of a widened anglia from the back it looke class
