Mr Sam Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 first off i do NOT do graffiti im not tallented enough and tagging is just shameless but anyone ever come across real good arty stuff? like banksy, seen one of his works very talented guy anyway came across this yesterday... just stood in the doorway gobsmacked, must be a few quid worth of paint in that not to mention time and skill, just hidden away in the kitchen of an old people home in some woodland the joker? me up the ladder and some of Banksy' work

5hane Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 some really cool ones "taggin" is crap and just ruins walls.. but thats art btw.. that 'kissing police men' one was vadalised by 2 drunks (think they rollered pink all over it) and they got done and given community service !!!

Got cought doing a massive piece, then again tagging... the place in question was covered in my tags, got 2 months community service order , or something along those lines. Did several pieces in and around high wycombe between those times. As for the artwork shown above, talented yes, but it has to be out the nozzle of a can, templates and stensils arent allowed (well they never used to be anyway). The first one is top notch stuff, but its bad practice to leave the empty (and half empty) cans behind as they can be used to deface the artwork by someone later. i havent put paint to a wall for a very long time, but looking how the standard of the stuff has come along i doubt id compete with that anyhow.
