last thing he texted me was he was going to see how much the train ticket would cost as the coach was full and he hasnt got back in touch. I waited at the station for 40 mins incase he had got the train. I assumed he went to his girlfriends but his phone still isnt on.

Well, folks, I went and saw Burns tonight, to give him the train tickets he was hoping to get in time for the weekend.

 

Poor chap is a bit down, he said for me tell the OSF bunch he has had a shit weekend.

 

He apparently (he will correct this when he got back) went to get a coach to Mand's but the fare was £40 which was a bit much for a pauper student, so he went to the trains, which were even more, so, rather depressed, he caught a coach to his g/f's. He thought "I know, I'll ring Mand and tell her I'm not going to make it". Then he thought, "FFS, some fook wit has stolen my mobile". Which is why we can't raise him on it. Someone has lifted it. He is insured, but is waiting for a replacement.

 

To try to cheer him up, I took him a tin of spam from you lot, one with extra smelly french garlic in it, coz Burns likes gaaaaaaaaaaaarlic.

 

Be gentle with him when he gets back, like you lot can!! He didn't even go to the NEC clothes show with his g/f. When his brother went to another show that was on at the same time as the clothes show a few years back, he looked at the girls there and said, "result, fanny fest". I don't know where they get it from....

looks like we both had a shit weekend then, i have 2 give my job up or get sacked hand in my resignation in morning as they supposed 2 b sacking me at 9am, now u know y i aint been my mad self im fooked off, oh well on the hunt 4 new 1
