Takeshi Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Had a pop in my mates Saxo VTR last night, I forgot how god awful FWD is at times. I can't stand the "torque steer", I've always liked RWD but I love it even more now
Fiesta Steve Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Its just like snaking a rwd car up the road, 'cept its the front thats snaking
bmxdave Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 Its just like snaking a rwd car up the road, 'cept its the front thats snaking Thats what i keep saying but people dont listen. I do miss rwd skids though.
vibrating_Cake Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 the thing i miss about my old FWD is the "chuckability" of it. you could throw it into any corner at any speed and not spin and die.... but the capri is 100000x more fun as i can get more power down more of the time.... so no need to get round that corner that 10th faster
Takeshi Posted December 28, 2008 Author Report Posted December 28, 2008 I just didnt like how the cars trys to control you. You put your foot down and the wheels are trying to make you go a in straight line. I dont know what these cars with LSD etc are like, but its something I dont miss.

Multiply your torque steer by 2, thats what its like with an LSD
bortaf Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Nuttin wrong with FWD you just need to learn how to use it propperly I jump from a RWD into a FWD daily which helps i guess but they both have thier advantages and disadvantages, i'd deffo say FWD is safer "IF" the person can't drive propperly

AWD FTW!
